A Visit to the Farm
Bring your students to a farm market where
they can experiences and learn what it means to grow fruits and vegetables.
Through hands-on activities the
students will learn:

which tools a farmer uses...
the different shapes and
sizes of seeds.
Length of program: Approx. 2
hrs.
Suggested age group: Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Cost: $3.00/ student
What the students will receive: In spring - a packet of edible
seeds & a small flower. In fall - a packet of edible seeds & a
small gourd
(In fall, students can pick a small pumpkin for an additional $1.00.)
When program is offered: May 1 - June 10 or Sep. 1 - Oct. 31
